How to Add NCISFiction Stories to Calibre
To add an NCISFiction story to calibre, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file with calibre’s Add books button. You can then edit its metadata and cover, convert it to another format, read it on your computer, or send it to a connected e-reader.
Download the story as an EPUB
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. Open the NCISFiction downloader and copy the URL of the story you want.
An NCISFiction story link looks like this:
https://ncisfiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234Paste the link into WP Downloader. It will recognize the site and download the whole story. Single chapters and lists are not available for NCISFiction.
Choose EPUB to add the story to calibre. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images. WP Downloader also offers PDF with a free Discord sign-in.
You can download public stories without an NCISFiction account. Signing in is optional and allows WP Downloader to fetch members-only stories that your account can read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader does not bypass access restrictions.

Add the EPUB to calibre
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. After the EPUB finishes downloading, open calibre on your computer.
- Select Add books.
- Find the downloaded EPUB.
- Select the file and add it to your library.
- Select the new book to view its details.
You can now manage the story in your calibre library or open it in calibre’s e-book viewer.
Edit the metadata and cover
Use calibre’s metadata tools to edit the story’s title, author, other library details, and cover.
These changes apply only to the copy in your calibre library. They do not change the original story on NCISFiction.
Convert the story to another format
WP Downloader creates EPUB and PDF files. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
If you need another format, add the EPUB to calibre and use its conversion tool. calibre can convert EPUB files to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, and PDF. You can keep the original EPUB in your library alongside the converted file.

Send the book over USB
Connect your e-reader to your computer with a USB cable. After calibre recognizes the device, select the story and use the option to send it to the connected e-reader.
If the device needs a format other than EPUB, convert the story in calibre before sending it.
Read or listen in calibre
You can read the downloaded story on your computer with calibre’s e-book viewer. The viewer also has a Read aloud feature if you want to listen to the text.
Download the story again for new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. When an NCISFiction story is updated, download the whole story again and add the new EPUB to calibre.

Can I add an NCISFiction EPUB directly to calibre?
Yes. Download the story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, open calibre, select Add books, and choose the downloaded file.
Do I need an NCISFiction account?
Public stories do not require an account. You can sign in to download members-only stories that your NCISFiction account can read.
Can WP Downloader create an AZW3 or MOBI file?
No. WP Downloader outputs EPUB and PDF. Download the EPUB and use calibre to convert it to AZW3, MOBI, or another format supported by calibre.
Can calibre send the story to my e-reader?
Yes. Connect the e-reader to your computer over USB, select the story in calibre, and send it to the connected device.
Will my calibre copy update when the story gets new chapters?
No. WP Downloader does not update an existing EPUB. Download the complete story again and add the new file to your calibre library.
