How to Add NovelFull Stories to Calibre

Download the NovelFull story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then add the file to calibre. From there, you can edit its metadata and cover, convert it to another format, read it on your computer, or send it to a connected e-reader.

Download the NovelFull story as an EPUB

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. NovelFull stories are in English, and downloading them does not require an account.

A NovelFull story URL looks like this:

To download a story:

1. Open the story on novelfull.com and copy its URL.
2. Go to the NovelFull Downloader.
3. Paste the URL into the box. WP Downloader will detect that it comes from NovelFull.
4. Choose EPUB as the output format.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the EPUB to your computer.

EPUB is free for everyone and can be added directly to calibre. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but that option requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is a useful starting format if you want to edit the book’s metadata, convert it, or move it to an e-reader.

WP Downloader downloads whole NovelFull stories. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories from the site.

Add the EPUB to your calibre library

calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. After opening it:

1. Select Add books.
2. Find the NovelFull EPUB you downloaded.
3. Select the file and add it.
4. Check that the story appears in your calibre library.

You can keep the EPUB with your other e-books and open it in calibre’s e-book viewer.

Edit the story details and cover

Select the story in calibre and open the metadata editor. You can edit the book’s metadata and change its cover to keep its details consistent with the rest of your library.

Read or listen in calibre

calibre’s e-book viewer can open the EPUB on your computer. The viewer also has a Read aloud feature for listening to the story.

Convert the story to another format

WP Downloader creates EPUB and PDF files. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

calibre can convert the downloaded EPUB to other formats, including:

• AZW3
• MOBI
• PDF

You can keep the original EPUB in your calibre library alongside the converted version.

Send the book to an e-reader over USB

Connect your e-reader to your computer over USB, select the NovelFull story in calibre, and use calibre’s device transfer option to send the book.

Download new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. When a NovelFull story is updated, return to the downloader and download the whole story again.

Add the new EPUB to calibre and choose whether to keep the earlier copy or replace it. You can edit the replacement’s metadata and cover to match the rest of your library.
