How to Add SIYE Stories to calibre
To add a Sink Into Your Eyes story to calibre, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file using Add books. You can then edit its details and cover, read it on your computer, convert it to another format, or transfer it to a connected e-reader.
What you need
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything to download the story. Sink Into Your Eyes, also known as SIYE, does not require an account.
You will need:
- The SIYE page for the story
- WP Downloader in your web browser
- calibre on a Windows, macOS, or Linux computer
A SIYE story address looks like this:

Download the SIYE story as an EPUB
Open the SIYE downloader and follow these steps:
- Copy the story address from siye.co.uk.
- Paste it into the downloader box.
- Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site and fetch the story.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the EPUB to your device.
EPUB is free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in. For a calibre library, EPUB is a useful starting format because calibre can read it and convert it to other e-book formats.

Add the EPUB to your calibre library
Open calibre and select Add books. Find the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader, select it, and add it to your library.
The story will appear with your other calibre books. Select it to manage its information, open it in the e-book viewer, convert it, or send it to a connected device.
Keeping SIYE downloads in calibre makes them easier to find and read offline than leaving them in a downloads folder.
Edit the story details and cover
calibre lets you edit a book’s metadata and cover. You can change details such as the title and author or replace the cover shown in your library. Using consistent titles, author names, and covers can make a larger collection easier to browse.
These changes apply only to the copy in your calibre library. They do not change the story on SIYE.
Read or listen in calibre
Select the story and open it in calibre’s e-book viewer to read it on your computer. The EPUB is stored locally, so you can read it without returning to the SIYE website.
The viewer also has a Read aloud feature. Open the story in the viewer and choose Read aloud to listen instead of reading on the screen.
Convert the EPUB to another format
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If you need another e-book format, calibre can convert the EPUB.
For example, calibre can convert:
- EPUB to AZW3
- EPUB to MOBI
- EPUB to PDF
Select the story in your library, open calibre’s conversion option, and choose the format you need. Keep the original EPUB if you may want to create another version later.
Send the story to an e-reader
Connect your e-reader to the computer with USB. After calibre recognizes it, select the SIYE story and use the option to send the book to the device.
Make sure the book is in a format your e-reader supports. You can convert the EPUB in calibre before transferring it if needed.

Get new chapters
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already have. When a SIYE story gets new chapters, return to the SIYE downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy of the complete story.
Add the new EPUB to calibre, then review its metadata and cover if needed.
