How to back up Asianfanfics stories
Authors and websites can edit, unpublish, or delete stories. WP Downloader lets you save a personal EPUB copy of an Asianfanfics story so you can keep it and read it offline. The tool is free, works in your browser, and does not require an Asianfanfics account.
Download an Asianfanfics story with WP Downloader
Start with the story’s main page URL. An Asianfanfics story link normally looks like this:

- Open the Asianfanfics downloader.
- Paste the story URL into the box.
- Choose EPUB, or choose PDF after signing in with a free Discord account.
- Turn on the option to include the story’s images if you want them in your copy.
- Start the download and save the finished file to your device.
WP Downloader downloads the whole story from Asianfanfics. It does not download individual chapters or lists. The separate Asianfanfics download guide has a shorter walkthrough focused on creating the file.
You do not need to sign in to Asianfanfics. WP Downloader only saves material that is available to read and does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Your EPUB is a snapshot
A downloaded EPUB preserves the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it. If the online story is later edited, unpublished, or deleted, your copy remains as it was.
The file does not update when the author posts another chapter or changes an existing one. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. To get the later version, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
If you want to keep both versions, give each file a clear name or place it in a dated folder so you can tell them apart.
Store the file somewhere you can find it
After downloading the story, check where your browser saved the file. Move the EPUB into a folder you use for your personal reading collection. You can also keep a second copy on another device or storage drive that you control.
Keep downloaded stories for your own reading. Do not re-upload or share them.
Read the backup on your phone or tablet
To read the EPUB on a phone or tablet, open it with an app that supports EPUB files. If it does not open automatically, find the file in your downloads or file manager and select your reading app.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF after you sign in with a free Discord account. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files directly.
Organize and read stories with calibre
Calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can use it to organize a personal collection of downloaded stories.
To add a story:
- Open calibre on your computer.
- Select “Add books.”
- Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
- Edit its metadata or cover if you want to tidy your library.
- Open it in calibre’s e-book viewer when you want to read.
The calibre viewer also has a “Read aloud” feature.
Calibre can convert an EPUB to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. You can use this option when a device or reading app needs a format that WP Downloader does not create directly.
Put the story on an e-reader
Calibre can send books to a connected e-reader over USB. Add the EPUB to your calibre library, connect the reader to your computer, and use calibre to transfer the book.

Refresh your backup when the story changes
If a story is still being updated, download it again when you want a copy with the latest available chapters. Each new download is a complete snapshot. It does not update the old EPUB.
Check that the new file opens correctly before replacing an older copy. Keep both files if you want to preserve earlier edits or passages that may have been deleted.

Do I need an Asianfanfics account?
No. WP Downloader does not require an Asianfanfics sign-in to download a story.
Can WP Downloader add new chapters to my existing EPUB?
No. Download the story again to create a new EPUB containing the chapters available at that time.
Can I download only one Asianfanfics chapter?
