How to Back Up Superlove Stories
Authors and websites can edit, unpublish, or delete stories. You can use WP Downloader to save a Superlove story as a personal EPUB or PDF copy while it is available. The file preserves the version you downloaded for offline reading.
Download a Superlove story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. For Superlove, it downloads complete stories rather than individual chapters or lists.
- Open the Superlove downloader.
- Copy the story’s Superlove URL. It should look like this:
https://superlove.sayitditto.net/works/123456- Paste the URL into the downloader box.
- Choose EPUB or PDF. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the finished file to your device.
You can also paste the link into the box on the WP Downloader home page. WPD will detect that it comes from Superlove.

Stories that require a Superlove account
You do not need to sign in for public stories. For members-only works, you can sign in with your account on superlove.sayitditto.net. WP Downloader can then fetch stories that account is allowed to read.
Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader cannot bypass account restrictions, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
Keep the original EPUB
An EPUB can be opened in e-book software and transferred to an e-reader, so it works well as the original copy in a personal library. Keep the downloaded file instead of relying on a copy stored only inside a reading app.
The file contains the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. If the author publishes more chapters or makes edits you want to save, download the whole story again.
You can keep the original and later downloads as separate snapshots so you know which version each file contains.
Organize stories with calibre
Calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can use it to organize a larger offline collection.
To add a story:
- Open calibre on your computer.
- Select “Add books.”
- Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
- Review the book’s metadata and cover, then edit them if needed.
- Open the book in calibre’s e-book viewer when you want to read it.
The viewer also has a “Read aloud” feature for listening to the text in your saved EPUB.
Calibre can convert an EPUB to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. WP Downloader creates EPUB and PDF files, but it does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
Put the story on an e-reader
After adding the EPUB to calibre, connect your e-reader to the computer over USB. Calibre can then send the book to the connected device.

Keep the original downloaded file after transferring the book. You can use it if you replace your e-reader, remove the book from the device, or need to convert it to another format.
Keep your copies personal
Keep downloaded stories for your own reading. Do not re-upload the files, publish them elsewhere, or share copies with other people.
A personal copy preserves a story you were already able to read. It does not give you permission to redistribute the author’s work, even if the story is later edited, unpublished, or deleted.

Can WP Downloader save one Superlove chapter?
No. WP Downloader downloads the whole story from Superlove. It does not download individual chapters or lists.
Will my EPUB update when new chapters appear?
No. An EPUB contains the story as it was when you downloaded it. Download the story again to get later chapters or edits.
Do I need to sign in to Superlove?
You do not need to sign in for public stories. Signing in with your account on superlove.sayitditto.net gives WP Downloader access to members-only stories that your account can already read.
Can I download a Superlove story as MOBI or AZW3?
WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Download the EPUB, add it to calibre, and convert it there if you need another format.
Can I share my backup with someone else?
No. Keep downloaded stories for your own reading. Do not share or re-upload them.
