How to download GoodNovel stories as EPUB or PDF

WP Downloader lets you download the free chapters of a GoodNovel story as an EPUB or PDF. It is a free browser-based tool, so you do not need to install anything.

How to download a GoodNovel story

1. Open the story on goodnovel.com.
2. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
3. Go to the GoodNovel Downloader.
4. Paste the complete story URL into the download box.
5. Choose EPUB or PDF.
6. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
7. Start the download and save the file to your device.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story, including the chapters available for free. It does not support individual GoodNovel chapters or lists.

What a GoodNovel URL looks like

A GoodNovel story URL looks like this:

Each story has a different title and number in its URL. Copy the link from the main story page and paste it into WP Downloader without changing it.

If the link does not work, return to the story’s main page and copy the URL from the address bar again. Links to individual chapters and lists are not supported.

Do you need to sign in?

You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel. WP Downloader can download the chapters that are freely available.

Paid chapters are left out. WP Downloader does not buy or unlock them.

A free Discord sign-in is required only when you choose PDF. EPUB is available without a Discord sign-in. Signing in to Discord does not provide access to any additional GoodNovel chapters.

Should you choose EPUB or PDF?

Choose EPUB if you want to read the story in an EPUB-compatible app or on a compatible e-reader. EPUB is free for everyone and does not require a Discord sign-in.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Choose PDF if you want a file that opens in a PDF viewer. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.

Both formats contain the same accessible GoodNovel chapters. Choosing PDF does not include paid chapters.

Open the story on your phone or tablet

After the download finishes, find the EPUB or PDF in your browser’s downloads list or your device’s file manager.

Open the story on a computer

Find the EPUB or PDF in your browser’s download folder. Open the EPUB in an EPUB-compatible reading app or the PDF in a PDF viewer.

Downloading new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to a file you have already downloaded. If more free chapters become available, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

The new file will contain the free chapters available when you download it. Your old file will not be updated.
