How to Print an Imagine: The List Story as a PDF
To print an Imagine: The List story for personal reading, use WP Downloader to save the whole story as a PDF. You can then open the file on your phone or computer and print it. PDF works well for printing because it keeps a fixed page layout.
Download the story as a PDF
WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. Start on the Imagine: The List downloader.
- Find the story on imagine.e-fic.com.
- Copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. It should look like this:
https://imagine.e-fic.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234 - Paste the link into WP Downloader.
- Wait for the tool to detect the site and fetch the story.
- Choose PDF as the output format.
- Sign in with Discord when prompted. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download and save the finished PDF.
For Imagine: The List, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a story list from this site.
Public stories do not require an Imagine: The List account. You can sign in with an account from that site to access members-only stories that your account can read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
See how to download Imagine: The List stories for a general download guide.
Check the PDF before printing
Open the PDF and scroll through it before printing. Make sure the story is complete and that any images you included appear in the file.
If the story has gained new chapters since your download, paste its link into WP Downloader and download it again. The tool cannot add new chapters to an existing book.
Long stories can use many sheets of paper. Check the page count in your PDF app or print window before deciding whether to print the whole story or only selected pages.
Print from a computer
Open the PDF in your browser or PDF reader, then use the app’s Print command or your computer’s usual print shortcut.
In the print window:
- Select your printer.
- Check the page range.
- Choose color or black and white based on your printer and the contents of the PDF.
- Check the preview and page orientation.
- Set the paper size and two-sided printing options if available.
- Select Print.
The names and locations of these settings vary by computer, PDF reader, and printer.
Print from a phone or tablet
Find the PDF in your browser’s downloads or the app where you saved it. Open the file, look for the Share, More, or menu button, and select Print.
Choose a printer that is available to your device, check the page range and other settings, then start the print job. Menu names vary between devices and PDF apps.
If printing from your phone is awkward, move the PDF to a computer and use the steps above.
Use a print shop
You can also have the PDF printed at a print shop. Save the file somewhere you can access while placing the order. Tell the shop which pages to print and whether you want color or black and white.
Print the story for your own personal use only. Do not sell or distribute printed copies.
If you would rather read without paper, you can send an Imagine: The List story to Kindle or read it on Kobo.
FAQ
Is PDF or EPUB better for printing?
PDF is better suited to printing because it keeps a fixed page layout. WP Downloader also provides EPUB free to everyone, while PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
Do I need to install WP Downloader?
No. WP Downloader is a web tool, so there is nothing to install.
Why do I need to sign in with Discord?
PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. This is separate from the optional Imagine: The List sign-in, which gives WP Downloader access to members-only stories that your account can read.
Can I print only one chapter?
WP Downloader downloads the whole story, not individual chapters. Once you have the PDF, use the page-range setting in the print window to print only the pages you want.
May I sell or share printed copies?
No. Printed stories are for your own personal reading. Do not sell or distribute copies.
