How to Put a MassEffect2.in Story on Kindle With calibre

You can put a MassEffect2.in story on a Kindle without Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. First, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then add it to calibre, convert it to AZW3, and copy it to your Kindle over USB.

You will need a computer and calibre, a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader

Open the MassEffect2.in story downloader and paste the story URL into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site and download the whole story.

Choose EPUB so you can add the book to calibre. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.

Step 2: Add the EPUB to calibre

Step 3: Convert the EPUB to AZW3

AZW3 is a Kindle format suitable for books copied directly over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF.

Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI, but Kindles can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB.

Step 4: Connect the Kindle over USB

Connect your Kindle e-reader to the computer. Once calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose Send to device.

calibre will copy the Kindle-compatible book to the e-reader through the USB connection. When the transfer finishes, you can read the MassEffect2.in story offline on your Kindle.
