How to Put a Star Trek Fan Fiction Story on Kindle With calibre
You can put a story from Star Trek Fan Fiction on a Kindle without Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, convert it to AZW3 in calibre, and copy it to your Kindle over USB.
What you need

Step 3: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select “Add books.” Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
The story will appear in your calibre library. You can edit its metadata or cover to change how it appears in the library, or leave the book as it is.
You can also check the EPUB in calibre’s e-book viewer. The viewer has a “Read aloud” feature if you want to listen on your computer.
Step 4: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the story in your calibre library and choose “Convert books.” Set AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format that you can copy directly to a Kindle over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI, but Kindles can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB. Using AZW3 lets you complete the transfer without Send to Kindle.
Step 5: Connect your Kindle and send the book
Connect the Kindle to your computer over USB. When calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose “Send to device.”
After calibre transfers the book, the Star Trek Fan Fiction story will be available for offline reading on your Kindle.
