How to Read Ashwinder Stories on Kobo

To read an Ashwinder story on a Kobo, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your e-reader. Kobo opens EPUB files directly, so you do not need to convert the book or install another reading app.

Download the story as an EPUB

Find the story on ashwinder.sycophanthex.com. Its address should look like this:

Copy the full story URL from your browser’s address bar. Open the Ashwinder Downloader, paste the link into the box, and wait for WP Downloader to process the story.

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and works directly on Kobo e-readers. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It does not download individual chapters or lists. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to create a new EPUB. WP Downloader cannot update the copy already on your Kobo.

You do not need to sign in for public stories. For a members-only story, you can sign in with an account from Ashwinder. WP Downloader can only access content that your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass membership restrictions or unlock unavailable content.

Copy the EPUB to your Kobo with USB

You can transfer the EPUB from a computer with a USB cable.

Connect your Kobo e-reader to the computer with a USB cable.
Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive on the computer.
Open the Kobo drive.
Copy the downloaded EPUB onto it.
Eject the Kobo safely from the computer.
Disconnect the cable.

The story will appear in your Kobo library. You can open it like any other book and read it without visiting Ashwinder in a browser.

If you download a newer copy of an ongoing story, transfer the new EPUB to your Kobo. It will be a separate file rather than an update to the earlier one.

Transfer the EPUB with Dropbox

The following Kobo models support non-protected EPUB and PDF transfers through Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later:

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the Kobo cloud folder, and sync the device. The story will then appear in your Kobo library.

A book added through Dropbox appears only on the device where you added it. Repeat the transfer if you want the book on another Kobo.

Transfer the EPUB with Google Drive

Google Drive transfers require software version 4.37 or later and work on the same Kobo models:

On the e-reader, go to Home, then More, then My Google Drive, and select Get Started. Your Kobo will display a code. Enter that code on the Kobo website to link your account.

Read the story offline

Once the EPUB appears in your Kobo library, you can open it on the e-reader without returning to the Ashwinder website.
