Some Kobo models can add non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox. You need Kobo software version 4.18 or later and one of these models:

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the connected cloud folder, and sync the Kobo. Once the sync finishes, the story will appear on that device.

A book added through Dropbox appears only on the device where you added it.

Transfer the story with Google Drive

Google Drive transfers require Kobo software version 4.37 or later and one of the same supported models:

Kobo Libra Colour

On your Kobo, go to Home, More, My Google Drive, and then Get Started. The e-reader will show a code. Enter it on the Kobo website to link your Google Drive account.

Put the EPUB in the connected Google Drive folder, then sync the e-reader. A book added through Google Drive appears only on that Kobo.

Use USB if your Kobo does not support Dropbox or Google Drive.

Get new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB already stored on your Kobo. When the author publishes new chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download another copy of the whole story.

Transfer the new EPUB to your Kobo by USB, Dropbox, or Google Drive, depending on what your device supports.
