EPUB for ebook apps

WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files, so use EPUB for Kindle delivery.

Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF-compatible reading app. Downloading a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in to WP Downloader.

Make sure you download the file before leaving. An open Chaos browser tab will not give you an offline copy.

Prepare the story on your device

Phone or tablet

Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone or tablet, then open it in an app that supports the format. Check the file while you still have internet access to make sure you saved the correct story and your app can open it.

After the file is stored on the device, you can open it without a connection.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Download the story as an EPUB and send it through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service before the flight. Amazon accepts EPUB and PDF files by email, through the Send to Kindle app, or on the web. It converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, where it can appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.

Send to Kindle needs an internet connection to deliver the book. If you use email, the sender’s address must be on your approved sender list.

Computer

Test the story in airplane mode

Test the file before your flight:

1. Open the downloaded file in your chosen app.
2. If you use Kindle, wait for the book to appear on the device or in the Kindle app.
3. Turn on airplane mode.
4. Close the story and open it again.
5. Open a few chapters to make sure they are available.

If the story still opens, it is ready to read offline.

Download updates before your trip
