How to Read Dreame Stories on a Kobo E-Reader

To read a Dreame story on a Kobo e-reader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your Kobo. Kobo e-readers open EPUB files natively.

Download the Dreame story as an EPUB

WP Downloader is a free web tool and does not require installation. You can download Dreame stories without signing in.

Open the story on dreame.com and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. A Dreame story link looks like this:

Open the Dreame downloader, then paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single Dreame chapter or a list.

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can include the story’s images.

PDF is also available, but downloading one requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is a better fit for Kobo because the e-reader can open it directly.

Add the EPUB to your Kobo with a USB cable

You can transfer the EPUB to any Kobo e-reader over USB.

Connect your Kobo e-reader to your computer with a USB cable.
Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive on the computer.
Open the Kobo drive.
Copy the EPUB file from WP Downloader onto the Kobo.
Safely eject the Kobo from the computer.
Disconnect the cable.

The Dreame story will appear in your Kobo library, ready to read without an internet connection.

Add the EPUB through Dropbox

Dropbox can transfer non-protected EPUB and PDF files to these Kobo models:

Your Kobo must be running software version 4.18 or later. Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the Kobo cloud folder, and sync the device. The book will appear on that Kobo.

A book added through Dropbox appears only on the device where you added it.

Add the EPUB through Google Drive

Google Drive works with the same Kobo models and requires software version 4.37 or later:

To connect Google Drive:

Open Home on your Kobo.
Select More.
Open My Google Drive.
Select Get Started.
Enter the displayed code on the Kobo website.
Put the EPUB in the connected cloud folder.
Sync your Kobo e-reader.

The Dreame story will appear on that Kobo after it syncs. Books added through Google Drive appear only on the device where they were added.

Get newly added chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a Dreame story gets new chapters, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
