How to Read EFP Fanfic Stories in Apple Books

Download an EFP Fanfic story

Add the story to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

After downloading the EPUB, open it from Safari’s downloads or the Files app and share it to Books.

From Safari’s downloads

1. Open Safari’s downloads.
2. Find the EPUB you downloaded.
3. Open the file or tap the Share button.
4. Select Books from the sharing options.

Apple Books will import the EPUB and place it in your Library.

From the Files app

If you saved the EPUB in Files:

1. Open the Files app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Find the downloaded EPUB.
3. Open it, or tap Share and select Books.
4. Wait for Apple Books to open the story.

The story will appear in your Apple Books Library. You can reopen it from Books whenever you want to continue reading.

You can import a PDF the same way. Find the downloaded file, tap Share and select Books. The PDF will then appear in your Library.

Add the story to Apple Books on Mac

On a Mac, import the EPUB by dragging it into Books or using the Add to Library command.

Drag the EPUB into Books

1. Open the Books app.
2. Find the downloaded EPUB in Finder.
3. Drag the file into the Books window.
4. Open your Library and find the imported story.

You can also use the Books menu:
