How to Read an Eros & Sappho Story on a PocketBook

To read an Eros & Sappho story on a PocketBook e-reader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file through Send-to-PocketBook or over USB. You can then keep the story on your device and read it offline.

What you need

Find the Eros & Sappho page for the story you want to download. Its address should look like this:

You will also need your PocketBook e-reader. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything or sign in to an Eros & Sappho account.

WP Downloader saves the whole story from this archive. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories.

Download the Eros & Sappho story

1. Open the Eros & Sappho Downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site and fetch the story.
4. Choose EPUB as the output format.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the file to your phone or computer.

EPUB is free for everyone and works on PocketBook e-readers. PocketBook also reads PDF files, but creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook

Send-to-PocketBook lets you email an EPUB to your reader. You must activate the service on the device before you use it for the first time.

Set up Send-to-PocketBook

On your PocketBook:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and follow the activation instructions.
5. Open the activation email you receive.

After activation, you will receive a personal email address ending in @pbsync.com. Files sent to this address can be delivered to your PocketBook.

Email and sync the story

Attach the EPUB from WP Downloader to an email and send it to your personal @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the story does not appear, check whether your sending email address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before accepting the attachment. Once it is approved, send the EPUB again and sync the reader.

When the transfer finishes, open the story from your PocketBook library.

Copy the story over USB

You can also copy the EPUB directly from a computer:

1. Connect the PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Open the PocketBook’s storage on the computer.
3. Copy the downloaded EPUB onto the reader.
4. Finish the transfer and disconnect the device.
5. Find the story in your PocketBook library.

USB is another option if you do not want to set up Send-to-PocketBook or an emailed file is not arriving.

Get new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author updates the story, return to the Eros & Sappho Downloader, paste the link again, and download a new copy.

Transfer the new EPUB to your PocketBook by email or USB, then open the new version on the device.
