How to Read FanficAuthors Stories in Apple Books

Download the FanficAuthors story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then import the file into Apple Books on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Once imported, the story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

FanficAuthors stories use subdomains of fanficauthors.net. A story link usually looks like this:

You do not need to sign in to FanficAuthors. Its stories are in English.

Step 1: Download the FanficAuthors story

Open the FanficAuthors story downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and downloads the complete story.

Choose EPUB for Apple Books. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. Apple Books can also open PDF files, but WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in for PDF downloads.

To keep illustrations or other story images, select the option to include images before downloading.

Step 2: Add the EPUB to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

Once the EPUB has downloaded, open it from Safari’s downloads or the Files app and share it to Books.

From Safari’s downloads

1. Open Safari’s downloads.
2. Open the downloaded EPUB.
3. Tap Share.
4. Choose Books.

Apple Books will import the story and add it to your Library.

From the Files app

1. Open the Files app.
2. Find and open the downloaded EPUB.
3. Tap Share.
4. Choose Books.

You can follow the same steps for a PDF file.

Step 3: Add the EPUB to Apple Books on Mac

Download the EPUB to your Mac, then import it using either of these methods.

Drag the file into Books

1. Open the Books app.
2. Find the downloaded EPUB in Finder.
3. Drag the EPUB into the Books app.

Use Add to Library

1. Open the Books app.
2. Choose File, then Add to Library.
3. Select the downloaded EPUB.

The imported FanficAuthors story will appear in your Library.

Getting new chapters

WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already imported. If the author adds chapters, download the complete story again and import the new file into Apple Books.
