How to Read FanficAuthors Stories on a PocketBook
To read a FanficAuthors story on a PocketBook, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. EPUB downloads are free, and FanficAuthors does not require an account.
Download a FanficAuthors story
Find the story you want on a FanficAuthors site. Its address will end in fanficauthors.net, and the story link will look like this:
https://jeconais.fanficauthors.net/A_Story_Name/Copy the link to the story rather than a link to an individual chapter. WP Downloader handles complete FanficAuthors stories, not single chapters or lists.
Open the FanficAuthors downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story for download. You do not need to install anything or sign in to FanficAuthors.
Choose EPUB as the output format. PocketBook e-readers can open EPUB files, and the format is free for everyone. You can also include the story’s images.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF, though PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. PocketBook supports both EPUB and PDF. EPUB is usually the simpler choice for an ebook.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook
Send-to-PocketBook lets you email the downloaded story to your reader.
1. Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook, go to:
Settings > Accounts and synchronization > Send-to-PocketBookSign in and complete the setup. You will receive an activation email and a personal address ending in @pbsync.com.
2. Email the story
Using your usual email account, create a message addressed to your personal @pbsync.com address. Attach the EPUB from WP Downloader and send the message.
If the file does not arrive, check whether your sending address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist it before accepting files from that address.
3. Sync your PocketBook
Sync your PocketBook after sending the email. Once the EPUB appears on the reader, you can open it and read offline.
Transfer the story over USB
You can also copy the EPUB or PDF directly to your PocketBook over USB. This works if you prefer not to set up Send-to-PocketBook or an emailed file has not appeared.
Connect the PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable. Copy the downloaded story file to the reader, wait for the transfer to finish, and disconnect the device. Open the transferred EPUB or PDF on the PocketBook to start reading.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader creates a new ebook from the story available at the time of download. It cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB.
When a FanficAuthors story is updated, download the complete story again. You can then transfer the new file to your PocketBook with Send-to-PocketBook or USB.
