How to Read Fanfics.me Stories on a Flight Without Wi-Fi

Download the Fanfics.me story before you leave, save the EPUB or PDF to the device you will use, and open it while you still have internet. Once the file is on your device, you can read it in airplane mode without Wi-Fi.

Download the story before your flight

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything.

1. Open the Fanfics.me downloader.
2. Copy the Fanfics.me story URL. It should look like this:

3. Paste the URL into WP Downloader.
4. Choose EPUB, which is free for everyone, or PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the file to your device.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story from Fanfics.me. It does not download individual chapters or lists. If the story gets new chapters, download it again to make a new copy. The tool cannot update an EPUB you already have.

Fanfics.me stories are in Russian. Signing in with your Fanfics.me account is optional, but it lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that your account can read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. The tool cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Choose a file format

Choose EPUB if you use an EPUB reading app on your phone or tablet. After you download the file and add it to the app, you can open the story without a connection.

Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF reader. Creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in. Save the complete file to your device instead of relying on an online link.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Kindle readers can choose EPUB or PDF and send the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service before the flight.

Read on a phone or tablet

Prepare your phone or tablet before the trip:

1. Download the EPUB or PDF to the device, or transfer it from another device.
2. Open it in an app that supports the format.
3. Check that the story opens and that you can move through it.
4. Turn on airplane mode.
5. Open the story again.

A filename alone does not confirm that the book is stored locally. Opening it in airplane mode does.

Read on a Kindle

Amazon’s Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files. You can send the book by email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, through the Send to Kindle app, or through Send to Kindle on the web.

Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. It can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Sending and delivering the file requires an internet connection, so finish this before your flight. When sending by email, use an address on your approved sender list.

Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files. WP Downloader provides EPUB and PDF instead. Follow the Fanfics.me Kindle guide or the general Send to Kindle instructions.

Once the book appears, open it on the Kindle or in the Kindle app you plan to use. Turn on airplane mode and open it again to confirm that it is available offline.

Read on a Kobo
