Read FanFiktion.de Stories Offline
WP Downloader lets you save a whole FanFiktion.de story as an EPUB or PDF for offline reading. It is a free browser-based tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the FanFiktion.de story
Copy the story URL from fanfiktion.de. It should look like this:

- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your device.
EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

You do not need to sign in to download public stories. Signing in with your FanFiktion.de account also allows WP Downloader to fetch members-only stories that the account can read. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.
Read the story offline on a phone
Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone, then find it in your browser’s downloads area or the phone’s file manager.
Open the file in a reading app that supports its format. If the app has an import or open-file option, use it to add the story to your library.
Open the book once before going offline and check that its chapters are available. You can then read it from the app without opening the FanFiktion.de page again.
Read the story offline on a tablet
The steps are similar on a tablet:
- Download the story as an EPUB or PDF.
- Find it in your downloads or file manager.
- Open or import it with a compatible reading app.
- Check that it appears in the app’s library.
A tablet gives you a larger reading area while keeping the story in one portable file. If you use the same reading app on several devices, use the app’s usual method to add the file to each device.
Put the story on an e-reader
Download the FanFiktion.de story with WP Downloader, then transfer it with the import or transfer method supported by your e-reader.
Find the story in the device’s library and open it once. This checks that the selected format works on the device before you go offline.
Kindle and Kobo use different transfer methods:
WP Downloader does not provide MOBI or AZW3 files. Choose EPUB or PDF and follow the guide for your device.
Read the story offline on a computer
Download the EPUB or PDF and save it somewhere easy to find, such as your downloads folder.
Open the file with a compatible reading app. If the app supports imports, you can add the story to its library. Once the file opens correctly, you can read it offline without keeping the FanFiktion.de page open.
Keep the downloaded file to retain an offline copy on that computer. You can also transfer the same file to another device.
Download new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author publishes more chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
The new file will contain the whole story available to your account at that time. You can keep the older file or replace it in your reading app.
Support for FanFiktion.de was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. WP Downloader makes that support available in a browser.
FAQ
Can I download one FanFiktion.de chapter?
No. WP Downloader downloads whole FanFiktion.de stories. It does not download individual chapters or story lists from this site.
Do I need a FanFiktion.de account?
