How to Read a Ficbook Story in Google Play Books
To read a Ficbook story in Google Play Books, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and upload the file to your Play Books library. You can then read it on the web, Android, or iPhone and iPad.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. Ficbook stories are in Russian, and you do not need to sign in to download them.
Step 1: Copy the Ficbook story link
Open the story on ficbook.net and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. A Ficbook story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Ficbook downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site and prepare the story.
You can download it in either of these formats:
- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can also choose whether to include the story’s images. Save the finished file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder or Google Drive.
If the author adds more chapters, download the whole story again to get an updated file. WPD cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you previously downloaded.

Step 3: Upload the file to Google Play Books
Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can upload the Ficbook download through the Play Books website or the Android app.
From a computer
Open the Google Play Books website and sign in. Choose the upload option, then select the EPUB or PDF from your computer or Google Drive.
From an Android phone or tablet
Open the Google Play Books app and use its upload option to select the EPUB or PDF. If the file is on another device, move it somewhere your phone or tablet can access first.
From an iPhone or iPad
Upload the file through the Google Play Books website, using a computer if needed. You can then open the uploaded story in the Play Books app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 4: Open the story
Select the Ficbook story in your Play Books library to start reading. The uploaded file is available through Play Books on the web, Android, and iPhone or iPad.
