How to read Ficbook stories offline
To read a Ficbook story offline, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and open the file in a compatible reading app. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the Ficbook story
Ficbook story links usually look like this:

Choose EPUB or PDF
EPUB is usually the easiest format for reading fiction in reading apps and on e-readers. It is a good choice if you plan to read the story on more than one compatible device.
Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF document. Downloading a PDF from WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
Check which formats your reading app or device supports before downloading. If it accepts both, EPUB is usually the simpler option for a story.
Read offline on a phone
Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone, then open it in a compatible reading app.
If your browser asks what to do with the file, save or download it. You can then find it in your phone’s downloaded files and open it with your reading app.
Once the story is stored in the app, you can read that copy without returning to Ficbook.
Read offline on a tablet
The process is similar on a tablet:
- Download the story from WP Downloader.
- Find the EPUB or PDF in your downloaded files.
- Open it in a compatible reading app.
- Check that the story opens correctly before going offline.
A tablet gives you a larger reading area than a phone while remaining portable.
Read on an e-reader
Download the Ficbook story to your phone, tablet, or computer first. Then use a transfer method supported by your e-reader to add the EPUB or PDF.

You can open a PDF with a PDF reader. An EPUB requires an EPUB-compatible reading app. Once the file is stored on your computer, you can read it without opening the Ficbook page again.
You can also transfer the downloaded file to another device that supports the same format.
Check the file before going offline
Open the downloaded story while you still have an internet connection. Make sure it works in your chosen app and contains the parts you want to read.
If you included images, check that they appear correctly. Ficbook stories are in Russian.
