How to Read Ficbook Stories on Android
To read a Ficbook story on an Android phone or tablet, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and open the file in an EPUB reader such as Google Play Books or Moon+ Reader. You can then read the saved book offline.
Download a Ficbook story with WP Downloader
Find the story on ficbook.net. Its address should look like this:
https://ficbook.net/readfic/12345Copy the address and open the Ficbook downloader. Paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will recognize the site and prepare the whole story for download.
EPUB is the easiest choice for most Android reading apps, and it is free for everyone. PDF is also available but requires a free Discord sign-in. Turn on the image option if you want to include the story’s images.
Ficbook stories are in Russian, and you do not need to sign in to Ficbook. WP Downloader downloads whole stories from this site, not individual chapters or lists.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to get an updated EPUB. The tool cannot add new chapters to a file you already downloaded.

Open the EPUB on Android
After the download finishes, find the EPUB file on your Android device and open or import it with an app that supports EPUB files.
Use Google Play Books
Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can read uploaded books on Android, iPhone or iPad, and the web.
Upload the Ficbook EPUB from the Google Play Books Android app. You can also use the Play Books website to upload it from your computer or Google Drive. Once the upload is complete, open Play Books on your Android phone or tablet and choose the story from your library.
Google limits the size of uploaded files. If a very large story will not upload, try opening the EPUB directly in another reader.
Use Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files on Android. Open the downloaded story in the app to add it to your library and start reading.
Moon+ Reader also has a built-in text-to-speech mode that uses the voices installed on your device.
Read the story offline
Once the EPUB is on your device and open in a reading app, you can read it offline without returning to Ficbook.
Keep the original EPUB somewhere easy to find. You can import the same file into another EPUB reader if you change apps.
Your saved copy will not receive new chapters automatically. To get the current version, return to the Ficbook downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new EPUB.
Listen to the story on Android
Android’s Select to Speak accessibility feature reads items on the screen aloud. Turn it on in Settings, then Accessibility, and use it while the story is open.
You can also use Moon+ Reader’s built-in text-to-speech mode or open the EPUB in @Voice Aloud Reader.
All of these options use your device’s text-to-speech voices. How natural the reading sounds depends on the voices installed on your phone or tablet.
Read the download on another device
