How to read a Ficbook story on a PocketBook e-reader
To read a Ficbook story on a PocketBook e-reader, download the whole story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. PocketBook supports both formats. EPUB is free to download, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
Download the Ficbook story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything or sign in to Ficbook.
Find the Ficbook story you want to read. Its address should look like this:
https://ficbook.net/readfic/12345Copy the story link and open the Ficbook downloader. Paste the link into the box and wait for WP Downloader to prepare the book.
Choose a format:
- EPUB is free for everyone and works on PocketBook e-readers.
- PDF also works on PocketBook, but downloading it requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can choose whether to include the story’s images. When the file is ready, save it somewhere easy to find, such as the downloads folder on your phone or computer.
For Ficbook, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list. Ficbook stories are in Russian.

Send the EPUB to your PocketBook by email
Send-to-PocketBook lets you email a book to your e-reader. You need to activate the service on the device first.
Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook:
- Open Settings.
- Select Accounts and synchronization.
- Choose Send-to-PocketBook.
- Sign in.
- Open the activation email you receive.
After activation, you will receive a personal Send-to-PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.
Email the Ficbook story
Attach the EPUB or PDF from WP Downloader to an email and send it to your personal @pbsync.com address. Then sync your PocketBook.
If the book does not arrive, check whether your sending address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist that address before accepting the attachment.
After the reader syncs, you can open the Ficbook story and read it offline.
Copy the story to your PocketBook with USB
You can also transfer the file over USB:
- Connect your PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable.
- Open the reader’s storage.
- Copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF to the device.
- Complete the transfer before disconnecting the reader.
- Open the book on your PocketBook.
Both formats work on PocketBook. EPUB does not require the Discord sign-in needed for PDF.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB already stored on your PocketBook. If the Ficbook author publishes more chapters, return to the Ficbook downloader and download the whole story again.
Send or copy the new file to your PocketBook to read the chapters available at the time of the new download.
