How to Read Ficbook Stories on a reMarkable Tablet

To read a Ficbook story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader, then transfer the file with the reMarkable app, a web browser, or a USB cable. WP Downloader works in your browser and does not require installation.

Download the Ficbook story

Open the Ficbook downloader. In another browser tab, find the story on ficbook.net and copy its address. A Ficbook story link looks like this:

Paste the link into WP Downloader and start the download. The tool detects Ficbook and creates an ebook containing the whole story.

You do not need a Ficbook account. WP Downloader cannot download a single chapter or a list from Ficbook. It only downloads material you can already read and does not bypass locked content or age restrictions.

Choose EPUB or PDF

WP Downloader provides two formats that work on reMarkable tablets:

• EPUB is free for everyone.
• PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

reMarkable supports EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB. WP Downloader also lets you include the story’s images.

EPUB is a good choice for a story that is mostly text. Choose PDF if you want fixed pages. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files, so select EPUB or PDF for your reMarkable.

After downloading the file, note where your browser saved it.

Use the reMarkable mobile or desktop app

You can import the downloaded EPUB or PDF through the reMarkable app on your phone, tablet, or computer.

From a phone or tablet

1. Download the Ficbook story with WP Downloader.
2. Open the downloaded file or your device’s sharing menu.
3. Choose the reMarkable app.
4. Open the document on your reMarkable tablet.

The names of the sharing and import controls may vary by device and app version. Select the EPUB or PDF created by WP Downloader.

From a computer

1. Save the Ficbook download to your computer.
2. Open the reMarkable desktop app.
3. Import the EPUB or PDF.
4. Open the story on your reMarkable tablet.

Upload the story in a web browser

You can also upload the story from a web browser. Download the EPUB or PDF to your computer, open reMarkable’s browser upload service, and select the file. Once the upload is complete, open the story on your tablet.

Transfer the story over USB

You can transfer the EPUB or PDF from a computer with a USB cable:

1. Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer.
2. Open the tablet’s storage settings and turn on the USB web interface.
3. Open a browser on the connected computer.
4. Enter this address:

5. Use the page to upload the EPUB or PDF.
6. Open the story on your reMarkable.

The location of the USB web interface setting can vary between reMarkable software versions. If you cannot find it, check the tablet’s storage settings.

Get new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, paste the Ficbook story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

Transfer the new file to your reMarkable using the app, browser, or USB method. Ficbook stories are in Russian.
