How to read a Ficbook story on a tolino eReader
To read a Ficbook story on a tolino eReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The Ficbook story page in your browser
- A computer
- Your tolino eReader
- A USB-C cable
A Ficbook story link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Ficbook story as an EPUB
Open the Ficbook downloader in your browser. Copy the story URL from your browser’s address bar and paste it into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link is from Ficbook and prepare the whole story.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and tolino eReaders can read them. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.

Step 2: Connect your tolino by USB-C
Connect the tolino to your computer with a USB-C cable. Wait for the computer to detect the reader before transferring the EPUB.
The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. Keep the reader connected while you find the EPUB you downloaded.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB into the Books folder
Open the tolino drive or connected device on your computer, then open its Books folder.
Find the Ficbook EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader and copy it into the Books folder. Wait for the file to finish copying, and do not unplug the USB-C cable during the transfer.
Once the transfer is complete, disconnect the tolino from the computer. The Ficbook story is now on the eReader and available to read offline.
Getting newer chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the Ficbook story is updated, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Copy the new EPUB to the Books folder using the same USB-C steps.
