How to read a FictionHunt story on an Android phone or tablet
To read a FictionHunt story on an Android phone or tablet, download the story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and open the file in a reading app.
Download the story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. It downloads complete FictionHunt stories, not individual chapters or lists.
Copy the story’s FictionHunt address. It should look like this:

- Sign in with your FictionHunt account. FictionHunt downloads require an account on that site.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.

EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It downloads only material your account can already read and does not bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions.

Choose a file format
Google Play Books can open your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files, so either format from WP Downloader will work with it.
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files and includes a text-to-speech mode. If you plan to use Moon+ Reader or @Voice Aloud Reader, download the story as an EPUB.
You can return to WP Downloader later and download the story again in the other format.
Read the story with Google Play Books
Google Play Books lets you upload DRM-free EPUB and PDF files and read them on Android, iPhone, iPad, or the web.
On Android, upload the downloaded story through the Google Play Books app. You can also use the Play Books website to upload it from your computer or Google Drive. Once the upload is complete, open the story in Google Play Books on your phone or tablet.
Very large stories may reach Google’s upload size limit. If that happens, open the EPUB in another Android reader.
Read the EPUB with Moon+ Reader
Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB, then open or import the file in Moon+ Reader.
Moon+ Reader also has a built-in text-to-speech mode. It uses the voices installed on your Android device, so the narration depends on those voices.
Listen to the story on Android
Android’s Select to Speak feature can read items on the screen aloud. Turn it on in Settings under Accessibility, then tap items on the screen to hear them read.
You can also read an EPUB aloud with:

- @Voice Aloud Reader, which reads EPUB files aloud
Both use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device.
Download new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the FictionHunt story is updated, return to the FictionHunt downloader, paste its link again, and download a new copy.
