How to Read a FicWad Story in the Kindle App
To read a FicWad story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Step 1: Copy the FicWad story link
Open the story on FicWad and copy its address from your browser’s address bar.
A FicWad story link looks like this:
https://ficwad.com/story/1234Copy the link for the whole story. WP Downloader downloads complete FicWad stories, not individual chapters or lists.
Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the FicWad Downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects that the link is from FicWad and prepares the story for download.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone, and Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts it. You can also include the story’s images in the downloaded book.
PDF is available with a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is the simplest option for adding the story to your Kindle library.
You do not need to sign in to FicWad for public stories. For a members-only story, you can sign in with your FicWad account so WP Downloader can fetch content that account is allowed to read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader cannot bypass age restrictions, locked content, or other access limits.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
After downloading the EPUB to your phone or tablet, send it to your Kindle library. Amazon accepts EPUB and PDF files through Send to Kindle. It converts the EPUB so you can read the story on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.
You can send the file in three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
When sending the file by email, use an approved sender email address. Attach the EPUB and send it to your Kindle address.
Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files. WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files, and you do not need to convert the EPUB to either format.

Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app
After Amazon converts the EPUB, the story appears in your Kindle library. Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet, find the story in your library, and select it to start reading.
The book can also appear on Kindle e-readers connected to the same library, so you can read it on your phone or a separate Kindle device.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author updates the story, return to the FicWad Downloader, paste the link again, and download a new copy.
Send the new EPUB to Kindle using the same method as before.
