To read a FicWad story on a reMarkable tablet, download the whole story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader, then import the file to your tablet. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

Download a FicWad story with WP Downloader

Find the story you want to read on ficwad.com. Its URL should look like this:

Copy the full story URL, then:

1. Open the FicWad downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Choose EPUB or PDF.
4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Download the file to your phone or computer.

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. reMarkable tablets support both formats as long as the file is no larger than 100 MB.

For FicWad, WP Downloader downloads whole stories only. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. If the author publishes more chapters, download the story again to get the latest available version. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have.

Choose EPUB or PDF

Both formats work on a reMarkable tablet. Which one you choose depends on your preference.

EPUB works well for books and longer stories, and WP Downloader provides it without requiring a sign-in. Choose PDF if you prefer that format and do not mind signing in to Discord for free.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. You do not need to convert the story to one of those formats because reMarkable supports EPUB and PDF files directly.

Transfer the story with a reMarkable app

You can import the file through the reMarkable desktop or mobile app.

4. Wait for it to transfer to your reMarkable.

You can also send EPUB and PDF files to a reMarkable from a web browser. Open reMarkable’s browser-based file service, select the downloaded FicWad file, and upload it. Once the file reaches your tablet, open it from the reMarkable library.

Transfer the story over USB

You can upload the file from a computer using a USB cable:

1. Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer.
2. Turn on the USB web interface in the tablet’s storage settings.
3. Open a browser on the connected computer.
4. Go to 10.11.99.1.
5. Upload the EPUB or PDF.
6. Open the file on your reMarkable.

The exact location of the USB web interface setting can differ between reMarkable software versions. Check the tablet’s storage settings if you do not see it where you expect.

FicWad accounts and access

FicWad stories are in English. You do not need to connect a FicWad account to download public stories. Signing in is optional and allows WP Downloader to fetch members-only stories that your account can read.

WP Downloader only downloads content available to your account. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you request.
