Send the EPUB to PocketBook by email
Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader a personal email address. You can email the downloaded story to that address from your phone or computer.
Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook reader:
- Open Settings.
- Select Accounts and synchronization.
- Open Send-to-PocketBook.
- Sign in and follow the setup instructions.
- Open the activation email you receive.
Once you activate the service, you will receive a personal PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.
Email and sync the story
From your usual email account, create a message and attach the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader. Send it to your personal @pbsync.com address.
Sync your PocketBook reader. When the transfer finishes, open the story on the reader.
If the file does not arrive, make sure the sending email address is on the service’s approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist it before accepting files. Approve the address, send the EPUB again, and sync the reader.
The same process works for a downloaded PDF.
Copy the story with a USB cable
You can also transfer the story from a computer over USB.
- Connect the PocketBook e-reader to your computer with a USB cable.
- Find the EPUB or PDF downloaded from WP Downloader.
- Copy the file to the PocketBook.
- Finish the transfer, then disconnect the reader.
- Open the transferred story on your PocketBook.
You do not need to set up a Send-to-PocketBook email address for a USB transfer.
Download newly published chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the author updates the story, return to the downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy of the complete story.
Transfer the new file to your PocketBook through Send-to-PocketBook or USB. You can then read the updated copy offline.
