Download the story before your flight

EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Sign-in is optional. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your Imagine: The List account through WP Downloader. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. The tool can download only material your account is already allowed to read. Choose a file for your device and app

The format to use depends on where you plan to read.

Phone or tablet

Choose EPUB if you have a reading app that opens EPUB files. Add or open the file in that app while you are still online. Seeing it in your downloads folder does not confirm that it is ready to read.

Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF reader. Remember that creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.

Open the story and move through a few pages before leaving. This checks that the download finished and that you know where to find the book.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Download the story as an EPUB or PDF, then use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service before the flight. You can email the file to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, use the Send to Kindle app, or send it through the web.

Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. It can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Delivery requires an internet connection, so send the file before boarding.

When sending by email, you must use a sender address approved for your Kindle account. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files, but no longer accepts MOBI files.

Kobo

Download the story before you travel, then follow the Imagine: The List Kobo guide. Open the book once before your flight to confirm that it is available on your device.

Test the book in airplane mode

Check the book offline before you leave:

Finish downloading or delivering the story.
Open it in the app or on the device you plan to use.
Turn on airplane mode.
Close and reopen the book.
Move through several pages to confirm that it still opens.

If the story does not open, turn off airplane mode and finish setting it up while you still have internet access. Make sure you downloaded the EPUB or PDF rather than saving the story’s web page.

WP Downloader does not add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If the story has gained chapters, download it again before your trip to get the newest version.

Checklist before you leave

Confirm that:

You downloaded the full story as an EPUB or PDF.
The file opens in your chosen reading app or on your device.
