EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Choose a format for your device

Your reading device will usually determine which format to download.

Phone or tablet

Choose EPUB if you have an app that reads EPUB books. After downloading the file, open it in the app and check that the story appears.

Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF reader. Save the file on your phone or tablet rather than leaving it on an online page.

Either format will open without Wi-Fi once the file is stored on the device.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Download the story as an EPUB or PDF and use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service before your flight. You can send the file by email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, through the Send to Kindle app, or on the web.

Amazon converts EPUB files and adds the book to your Kindle library. It can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Delivery requires an internet connection, so send the file before boarding.

When sending a file by email, use an address on your approved sender list. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.

Kobo

Download the story as an EPUB before you leave and put it on the Kobo you plan to take. Open the book before your trip to confirm that the file is present and readable.

Test the story in airplane mode

Check that everything works before you leave:

1. Confirm that the EPUB or PDF is on the device you are taking.
2. Open the story and check a few chapters.
3. Turn on airplane mode.
4. Close and reopen the reading app.
5. Open the story again and move between chapters.

If the story opens, it is ready for the flight. If it does not, reconnect to the internet and check that the file was downloaded or delivered to the device.

On a Kindle, wait until the book appears in your library before turning on airplane mode. The device still needs to receive the file after you send it.

If the story changes before your trip

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. If the Midnight Whispers story gets another chapter, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

Download it before the flight so the latest version is already on your device.
