Read a NCISFiction Story in KOReader
To read a NCISFiction story in KOReader, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your device. You can then open it in KOReader and read offline.
What you need
You will need:
- The link to the NCISFiction story
- A device that runs KOReader
- A way to transfer the downloaded file to that device
KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. It opens EPUB and PDF files, though EPUB is the simpler choice for this guide.
Installing KOReader on a Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process. The steps below assume it is already installed and working.
Step 1: Copy the NCISFiction story link
Open the story on ncisfiction.com or classic.squidge.org and copy its address from your browser. A NCISFiction story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the NCISFiction downloader in your browser. WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything.
Paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site. Select EPUB and start the download. EPUB is free for everyone and opens directly in KOReader.
You can also:

- Download a PDF with a free Discord sign-in
- Sign in with your NCISFiction account to access members-only stories that your account can read
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass access restrictions or download anything your account cannot already read.

Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device
Once the download is complete, copy the EPUB to the device where you use KOReader.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the e-reader to your computer with USB. Copy the EPUB to the device as usual, then disconnect the e-reader after the transfer finishes.
Android phone or tablet
Copy the EPUB using your usual Android file-transfer method. Remember which folder you put it in so you can find it in KOReader.
Jailbroken Kindle
KOReader runs only on Kindles that have been jailbroken. If KOReader is already set up on yours, connect the Kindle by USB and copy the EPUB to it. Installing KOReader or jailbreaking a Kindle is an unofficial process and is outside the scope of this guide.

Step 4: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to begin reading.
Because the story is stored on your device, you can read it offline without keeping the NCISFiction page open or returning to WP Downloader.
If you downloaded a PDF, copy it to the device in the same way and open it from KOReader’s file browser.
Downloading new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author updates the story, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Copy the new EPUB to your device and open it in KOReader. If you keep both versions, check their filenames to tell which download is newer.
