How to Read NCISFiction Stories Offline on a Flight
Download your NCISFiction story before the flight while you still have internet access. WP Downloader saves the whole story as an EPUB or PDF on your phone, tablet, Kindle, or another compatible device. Once the file is stored on the device, you can open it without a connection.
Download the NCISFiction story before your flight
Complete the download somewhere with a reliable internet connection.
- Open the NCISFiction Downloader.
- Copy the NCISFiction story URL. It should look similar to this:
https://ncisfiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234- Paste the story link into WP Downloader.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Turn on the option to include the story’s images if you want them in the book.
- Download the file to the device you will take on the flight.
EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
For NCISFiction, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It does not download individual chapters or lists. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already have.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your account on that site. WP Downloader can then fetch content that your account is allowed to read. It does not bypass account requirements or other restrictions.

Choose a device and file format
Your choice depends on the device and reading app you plan to use.
Phone or tablet
Choose EPUB if your reading app supports EPUB files. Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF-compatible app.
Open the downloaded file in your chosen app before the flight. This confirms that the book was saved to the device and is ready to read offline.
Kindle e-reader or Kindle app
Download the story as an EPUB or PDF, then use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service before your flight. Amazon accepts both formats. It converts EPUB files and adds the book to your Kindle library, where you can open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
You can deliver the file by email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, with the Send to Kindle app, or through the web. When using email, the sender address must be on your approved sender list.
Send to Kindle needs an internet connection. Send the file before the flight and wait for it to appear in your Kindle library. Amazon no longer accepts MOBI files, and you do not need to convert the EPUB from WP Downloader yourself.

Kobo
Download the story as an EPUB and add it to your Kobo before you travel. Open the book once to check that it is ready. The NCISFiction Kobo guide has more detailed instructions.
Test the book in airplane mode
Switch your device to airplane mode and open the story before leaving. This checks that the book is stored on the device instead of waiting to download from an online library.
Read the first few pages, then move to a later part of the story. If the file does not open, reconnect to the internet and download, transfer, or deliver it again.
Test every device you plan to use. Saving a story on your phone does not also store it on your tablet, Kindle, or another reader.
Preflight checklist
Before you leave:

- Put the file on the device you will use.
