How to Read NCISFiction Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK
To read a NCISFiction story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” After transferring the EPUB, you can read the story offline.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The page for the NCISFiction story you want to download
- A computer and a USB cable for your NOOK
- Your Barnes & Noble NOOK
- An account on the NCISFiction site if the story is available only to signed-in members

Step 1: Download the story as an EPUB
Open the NCISFiction downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader recognizes the site from the URL and downloads the whole story.
Choose EPUB for your NOOK. EPUB is free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images in the book.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. For a members-only story, you can sign in with an account on the site. WP Downloader can only access stories that your account is allowed to read, and it uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass account restrictions, paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions.
WP Downloader downloads whole NCISFiction stories, not individual chapters or lists. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to make a new EPUB. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already have.

Step 2: Connect your NOOK to the computer
Connect your NOOK GlowLight to your computer with a USB cable. The next step depends on the model.
If the NOOK appears automatically as storage, open the drive named “NOOK.”
On newer models, swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen. Tap “USB for charging,” then choose “Transfer files (MTP).” You can then open the NOOK’s storage on your computer.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your NOOK
Find the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader. Open the NOOK drive or storage location, then drag the EPUB onto it.
Wait for the transfer to finish. Eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the cable. The transferred story will then be available on the device.
You can also prepare the same NCISFiction story for a Kindle or read it on a Kobo.
Reading updated stories
When an NCISFiction story gets new chapters, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a fresh EPUB. Transfer the new file to your NOOK with the same USB steps.
