How to read an NCISFiction story on a reMarkable tablet
To read an NCISFiction story on a reMarkable tablet, download the complete story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file to your device. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the NCISFiction story
Find the story on ncisfiction.com or classic.squidge.org. Its address should look like this:

- Open the NCISFiction downloader.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the finished file to your phone or computer.
EPUB is free for everyone. reMarkable also supports PDF, but creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader downloads the complete story. It cannot download individual chapters or story lists. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to create an updated file.
Public stories do not require an account. You can optionally sign in with your NCISFiction account to reach members-only stories that your account has permission to read. WP Downloader does not bypass account restrictions or unlock unavailable content.

Choose EPUB or PDF for reMarkable
reMarkable tablets support EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB, so you can use either format from WP Downloader.
EPUB is available without a Discord sign-in. Choose PDF if you prefer that format and do not mind signing in.
Including images may increase the file size. Check that the finished book is no larger than reMarkable’s 100 MB limit before transferring it.
Add the story with the reMarkable app
You can transfer the downloaded story with the reMarkable desktop or mobile app.
If you downloaded it on your phone, add the EPUB or PDF through the mobile app. On a computer, use the desktop app. Once the transfer finishes, open the document on your reMarkable and begin reading.
The mobile app is handy when you want to move a story from your phone to the tablet without connecting a cable.
Upload the story from a web browser
You can also send EPUB and PDF files to reMarkable from a web browser. Open reMarkable’s browser-based file service, select the NCISFiction file, and upload it.
Once the file reaches your tablet, open it from your documents. It will remain available on the device for offline reading.
Transfer the file over USB
To transfer the story over USB:
- Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer with a USB cable.
- Open the tablet’s storage settings.
- Turn on the USB web interface.
- On the connected computer, open this address in a browser:
10.11.99.1- Upload the EPUB or PDF through the interface.
- Open the transferred story on your tablet.
The exact location of the USB web interface setting can differ between reMarkable software versions. If you cannot find it, check the tablet’s current storage settings.
Keep your downloaded copy current
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB or PDF you have already downloaded. When an NCISFiction story is updated, return to the downloader, paste the link again, and create a new copy.
Transfer the new file with the mobile app, desktop app, web browser, or USB interface. You may want to keep the previous copy until you have checked that the replacement opens correctly.
