How to read a Nine Lives Archive story in KOReader
To read a Nine Lives Archive story in KOReader, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your device. You can then open it in KOReader and read offline.
What you need
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything to use it. You will need:
- A Nine Lives Archive story link
- A device that runs KOReader
- A way to copy the downloaded file to that device
KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. Installing KOReader on Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process, so this guide assumes it is already installed.
Step 1: Copy the Nine Lives Archive story link
Open the story on ninelivesarchive.com or ninelives.dark-solace.org, then copy the address from your browser’s address bar.

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Nine Lives Archive downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story for download.

To keep artwork from the story, select the option to include images before downloading it.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your Nine Lives Archive account. Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device
Find the EPUB in your browser’s downloads, then move or copy it to the device where you use KOReader.
Android
Save or transfer the EPUB to a folder you can find in KOReader. If you downloaded it on the Android device, the file may already be in your downloads folder. If it is on a computer, copy it with your usual Android file-transfer method.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the reader to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB onto the device. Choose a folder that will be easy to find in KOReader.

KOReader runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. If it is already installed, connect the Kindle to your computer and copy the EPUB to an accessible folder.

Getting new chapters later
