How to Read Psychfic Stories in Apple Books on iPhone, iPad or Mac

First, download the whole Psychfic story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then add the file to Apple Books on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

What you need

You will need:

• A link to the Psychfic story
• WP Downloader, a free web tool
• The Apple Books app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac

WP Downloader requires no installation, and you do not need to sign in to download stories from Psychfic.

Step 1: Copy the Psychfic story link

Open the story on psychfic.com and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. A Psychfic story link looks like this:

Copy the main story page URL, since WP Downloader downloads whole Psychfic stories rather than individual chapters or lists.

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader

Open the Psychfic Downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site and prepare the story for download.

Choose EPUB for Apple Books. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.

You can also download the story as a PDF, but that format requires a free Discord sign-in. Apple Books can open EPUB and PDF files.

WP Downloader only downloads content you can already read. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls or age restrictions. Psychfic support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.

Step 3: Add the story to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

After the EPUB finishes downloading:

1. Open Safari’s downloads or find the EPUB in the Files app.
2. Open the downloaded EPUB.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Choose Books from the sharing options.

Apple Books will import the story and add it to your Library for offline reading.

The steps are the same for a PDF: open the file, tap Share and choose Books.

Step 4: Add the story to Apple Books on Mac

Find the downloaded EPUB in your Downloads folder, then add it using either method:

• Open the Books app and drag the EPUB into it.
• In Books, choose File, then Add to Library, and select the EPUB.

The Psychfic story will appear in your Apple Books Library. Apple Books can also open a PDF downloaded through WP Downloader.

Getting new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you previously downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the Psychfic Downloader and download the whole story again.

You can then add the new file to Apple Books using the same steps.
