How to Read Psychfic Stories on a PocketBook E-Reader

To read a Psychfic story on a PocketBook e-reader, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file through Send-to-PocketBook or USB. EPUB downloads are free, and Psychfic does not require an account.

Download the Psychfic story

WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. Start with the link to the story you want to read.

A Psychfic story link looks like this:

To download the story:

1. Open the Psychfic downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Choose EPUB as the output format.
4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Start the download and save the EPUB to your device.

PocketBook e-readers support EPUB and PDF. EPUB is free for everyone, while creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook

Send-to-PocketBook lets you email the EPUB to your e-reader. Before sending the story, activate the service on the reader.

Set up your PocketBook address

On your PocketBook:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and follow the activation steps.
5. Open the activation email you receive.

Once activated, the service gives you a personal email address ending in @pbsync.com.

Email and sync the story

Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your personal @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the story does not arrive, check whether your sending email address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before it accepts the attachment. After approving it, send the EPUB again and sync the reader.

Copy the story over USB

You can also copy the EPUB directly to your PocketBook over USB.

1. Connect your PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Copy the downloaded EPUB to the reader.
3. Disconnect the reader safely.
4. Find the story on your PocketBook and open it.

The EPUB remains on the reader for offline reading.

Get newly published chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a Psychfic story is updated, return to the Psychfic downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy of the complete story. You can then transfer the new EPUB by email or USB.
