To read a Psychfic story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader. You can then transfer the file with the reMarkable app, a web browser, or a USB cable. Once it is on the tablet, you can read it without opening Psychfic in a browser.

Download the story with WP Downloader

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install. It turns complete Psychfic stories into files that reMarkable supports.

Find the story on psychfic.com. Its address should look like this:

1. Copy the full story URL from your browser.

5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.

EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. Psychfic stories do not require a Psychfic account.

WP Downloader downloads the complete story, not individual chapters or lists. If the author publishes more chapters, download the story again to make a new file. WPD cannot update an EPUB already saved on your device.

Choose EPUB or PDF

reMarkable tablets support EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB, so either format will work.

EPUB is free and does not require a sign-in. PDF creation requires a free Discord sign-in. If you want artwork or other story images in the book, select the option to include images before downloading it.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. You do not need to convert the download because reMarkable accepts EPUB and PDF files directly.

Transfer the story with the reMarkable app

If you use the reMarkable desktop or mobile app, you can import the downloaded file from there.

1. Save the EPUB or PDF somewhere easy to find.
2. Open the reMarkable app on your computer or phone.
3. Use the file import option to add the story.
4. Wait for the file to appear on your reMarkable tablet.
5. Open the story on the tablet.

On a phone, the file will usually be in your browser’s downloads area or the device’s file manager.

Transfer the story from a web browser

You can also upload an EPUB or PDF through reMarkable’s browser-based file transfer option. Download the story to your computer, upload it through the browser, and wait for it to appear on the tablet.

Once the transfer is complete, open the story from the tablet’s file list.

Transfer the story over USB

Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer with a USB cable. Turn on the USB web interface in the tablet’s storage settings, then open this address in a browser on the connected computer:

Use the page that opens to upload the EPUB or PDF. The exact path to the USB web interface setting may differ between reMarkable software versions, so check the tablet’s storage settings if its wording or location has changed.

After the upload finishes, open the story from the tablet’s file list.

Read the story offline

Once the file is on your reMarkable, you can read the story without returning to psychfic.com. You can also keep the original download on your phone or computer as a backup.

When a story gets new chapters, return to the Psychfic downloader and download it again. Transfer the new file to your tablet using any of the same methods.
