How to Read Quotev Stories Offline on a Flight

Download your Quotev story before the flight, and you can read it without Wi-Fi once you are on the plane. WP Downloader saves the whole story as an EPUB or PDF that you can open on a phone, tablet, e-reader, or laptop.

Download the Quotev story before your flight

While you still have an internet connection:

Open the Quotev downloader.
Copy the story link. A Quotev story URL looks like this:

Paste the link into WP Downloader.
Choose EPUB or PDF.
Choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download the file to your device.

WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. Quotev stories do not require a Quotev sign-in. The downloader saves the whole story, not individual chapters or lists.

The available formats are EPUB and PDF. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If the author publishes more chapters, download the story again to get an updated copy.

Choose where you will read

Save the file on the device you plan to use and open it in a compatible reading app before your connection is gone.

Phone or tablet

Download the EPUB or PDF directly to your phone or tablet. Open EPUB files in an EPUB reader and PDF files in a PDF reader.

Open the story from your reading app before the flight. Seeing it in your browser’s download list does not confirm that your reading app can find and open it.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Choose EPUB or PDF, then use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service while you have internet. You can send the file by email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, through the Send to Kindle app, or on the web.

Amazon converts EPUB files and adds them to your Kindle library. The book can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Wait for it to arrive and open it before the flight. When sending by email, use an address on your approved sender list.

Kobo e-reader

Download the story as an EPUB and save it on your Kobo before leaving. Open the book on the device to confirm that it is ready for the flight. See the Quotev on Kobo guide for the device-specific steps.

Laptop

Save the EPUB or PDF to your laptop and open it with a compatible reading app before departure. Use a PDF reader for PDF files or an EPUB reader for EPUB files.

Test the story in airplane mode

Test the file offline before you leave:

Finish downloading or transferring the story.
Open it once in your reading app.
Turn on airplane mode.
Check that Wi-Fi is off.
Close and reopen the reading app.
Open the story and move between a few chapters.

If the story opens, the app can reach the saved file without an internet connection. If it does not, reconnect and repeat the download, transfer, or Send to Kindle step.

For Kindle, wait until the book appears on the device or in the app before testing it. The book still needs a connection if delivery has not finished.

Before your flight

Check that:

You downloaded the whole Quotev story.
The EPUB or PDF opens in your reading app.
Kindle delivery is complete if you used Send to Kindle.
The story opens in airplane mode.
You downloaded a new copy if the author added chapters after your previous download.

Send to Kindle needs an internet connection to deliver the book. Send it before the flight and confirm that it appears on your Kindle or in the Kindle app.

Will my downloaded EPUB add new Quotev chapters automatically?
