Read Sam & Jack Stories in KOReader

Download the Sam & Jack story
Open the Sam & Jack Downloader and copy the story URL from samandjack.net. It should look similar to this:

Choose EPUB for KOReader. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also make a PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in. KOReader can open either format.
To keep illustrations and other images from the story, select the option to include images before downloading.
WP Downloader downloads the entire Sam & Jack story. It does not download individual chapters or story lists. If the author publishes more chapters later, download the story again to get an updated copy. WPD cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have.

Sign in for members-only stories
Public Sam & Jack stories do not require an account. For a members-only story, you can sign in with your samandjack.net account. WP Downloader can then fetch material that account is allowed to read.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the requested story. It cannot bypass membership restrictions, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

Copy the EPUB to your device
Move the downloaded EPUB to the device where you use KOReader. KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken.
Kobo and PocketBook
Connect the device to your computer by USB and copy the EPUB as usual. Place it in a folder you can find from KOReader’s file browser.

Android
Copy the EPUB to your phone or tablet with your usual Android file transfer method. Note which folder you use so you can find the file in KOReader.
Kindle
KOReader runs only on jailbroken Kindles. Installing it on a Kindle is a separate, unofficial process and is not covered in this guide.

Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader, browse to the folder containing the EPUB, and select the file to start reading.
You can follow the same steps for a PDF. Copy it to the device, find it in KOReader’s file browser, and open it. EPUB is usually the easier option because WP Downloader provides it without a Discord sign-in.
Keep the file on your device to read the story offline. You can also save another copy and transfer it again if you change devices.
