Kobo
Download the EPUB before your flight and make sure it is stored on the Kobo you are taking. Open the book before switching to airplane mode to check that the transfer is complete.

Save the file somewhere you can reach without opening a website. Open it, move through a few pages, and test it again after disconnecting the laptop from the internet.
Check everything in airplane mode
Run through these steps while you still have time to fix a problem:
- Confirm that the full EPUB or PDF has finished downloading.

- If you are using Kindle, wait for Send to Kindle to finish delivering the book.
- Turn on airplane mode or disconnect from Wi-Fi.
- Close and reopen the story.
