Download the story as an EPUB

Transfer the EPUB by USB

USB works with Kobo e-readers and only requires a computer and a cable.

1. Connect your Kobo

Connect the Kobo to your computer with a USB cable. It will appear as a drive.

2. Copy the EPUB

Find the EPUB from WP Downloader and copy it onto the Kobo drive.

WP Downloader can also create a PDF, although that format requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is simpler for this purpose because Kobo opens it natively.

3. Eject your Kobo

Transfer the EPUB through Dropbox

Supported Kobo models can add non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later.

Dropbox is available on these models:

• Kobo Libra Colour

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the WP Downloader file in the cloud folder, and sync your Kobo. The story will appear on that device.

Transfer the EPUB through Google Drive

Google Drive requires Kobo software version 4.37 or later and works on the same models:

• Kobo Elipsa

• Kobo Libra Colour

On your Kobo, go to Home, then More, then My Google Drive, and select Get Started. Enter the displayed code on the Kobo website to link your account.

Put the EPUB in the Google Drive folder and sync the e-reader. A book added through Google Drive appears only on that Kobo.

Use USB if your Kobo does not support Dropbox or Google Drive.

Add new chapters to your Kobo

WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the Sufficient Velocity thread gets more threadmarked chapters, download the whole story again and transfer the new EPUB to your Kobo.
