How to read a Tenhawk Presents story on a Kobo e-reader

To read a Tenhawk Presents story on a Kobo, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your e-reader. Kobo opens EPUB files directly, so no conversion or extra reading app is needed.

Download the story as an EPUB

WP Downloader is a free web tool that runs in your browser, with nothing to install.

Find the story you want on Tenhawk Presents. Its address should look similar to this:

Copy the full story link and open the Tenhawk Presents downloader. Paste the link into the box, and WP Downloader will detect the site.

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story from Tenhawk Presents. It does not download individual chapters or story lists. If new chapters are published, download the story again to make a new EPUB. WPD cannot add chapters to an EPUB you already have.

You do not need to sign in for public stories. To access a members-only story, sign in with your Tenhawk Presents account. WP Downloader can only fetch content that your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Copy the EPUB to your Kobo with USB

USB is the simplest way to copy the downloaded story from a computer to a Kobo.

Download the EPUB from WP Downloader and save it somewhere easy to find.
Connect your Kobo to the computer with a USB cable.
Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive on the computer.
Open the drive and copy the EPUB onto it.
Eject the Kobo safely, then disconnect the cable.
Open the Kobo library and find the book.

The story is now stored on the e-reader and available offline.

Add the EPUB through Dropbox

The following Kobo models can import non-protected EPUB and PDF files from Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later:

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the Kobo cloud folder, and sync the device. The story will appear in that Kobo’s library.

Add the EPUB through Google Drive

Google Drive requires Kobo software version 4.37 or later and works on the same models:

On your Kobo, go to Home, More, My Google Drive, and Get Started. The e-reader will show a code. Enter that code on the Kobo website to link your account.

Put the EPUB in the Google Drive folder and sync your Kobo. The story will appear in the library on that device only.

If your Kobo does not support Dropbox or Google Drive, copy the EPUB by USB.

Read the story offline

Once the EPUB is in your Kobo library, open it like any other book on the device. The file is stored locally, so you can read without an internet connection.
