How to Read The Hookup Zone Stories on a PocketBook

To read a Criminal Minds Fic Archive story on your PocketBook, download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then send the file to your reader with Send-to-PocketBook or copy it over USB.

Download the story as an EPUB

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. It supports the Criminal Minds Fic Archive, also known as The Hookup Zone, at thehookupzone.net and criminal-minds-fiction.com.

A story link may look like this:

To download a story:

1. Open the story in your browser and copy its full URL.
2. Go to The Hookup Zone downloader.
3. Paste the story link into the box.
4. If the story is available only to members, sign in with your account for the archive. You do not need to sign in for a public story.
5. Select EPUB as the output format.
6. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
7. Download the finished EPUB to your phone or computer.

PocketBook e-readers support EPUB and PDF. EPUB downloads are free for everyone on WP Downloader, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

For The Hookup Zone, WP Downloader downloads whole stories. It does not support individual chapters or story lists. The downloader can access only material that you or your signed-in account can already read. It cannot bypass membership restrictions, locked content, or age restrictions.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook

Send-to-PocketBook gives your e-reader its own email address. After setting it up, you can email the downloaded EPUB to your device.

Set up your PocketBook address

On your PocketBook:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Choose Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and complete the activation process.
5. Open the activation email you receive.

Once activated, you will have a personal PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.

Email and sync the story

Attach the EPUB from WP Downloader to an email and send it to your personal @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the book does not arrive, check whether your sending email address is on the service’s approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before accepting the attachment. Once the address is approved, send the EPUB again and sync the reader.

Copy the EPUB over USB

You can also transfer the EPUB by USB:

1. Download the story’s EPUB to your computer.
2. Connect your PocketBook to the computer with USB.
3. Copy the EPUB to the reader.
4. Safely disconnect the PocketBook.
5. Open the transferred story on the device.

Get new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you downloaded earlier. When a story is updated, paste its link into the downloader again and create a new EPUB. Transfer the new file to your PocketBook by email or USB.
