How to Read The Sietch Stories in Apple Books
To read a story from The Sietch in Apple Books, download it as an EPUB and import the file into the Books app. WP Downloader creates the EPUB in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Apple Books can open the file on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Download the story with WP Downloader
Stories on the-sietch.com are published as forum threads. WP Downloader collects a thread’s threadmarked chapters and puts them into one book.
Open the The Sietch downloader, then copy the address of the story thread you want to save. The address should look like this:

Apple Books also opens PDF files. Creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in, while EPUB does not.
WP Downloader downloads the whole story from The Sietch. It does not download individual chapters or lists. If the author posts more chapters later, download the story again to create a new EPUB with the available chapters. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already imported.
You do not need a The Sietch account for public stories. You can sign in with an account from the site to reach members-only stories that account can read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you request. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

After the download finishes:
- Find the EPUB in the Files app or Safari’s downloads.
- Open the sharing options for the file.
- Choose Books.
- Wait for Apple Books to import the file.
The story will appear in your Apple Books Library.
You can import a PDF in the same way. Find the downloaded file, open its sharing options, and choose Books.
Add the EPUB to Apple Books on Mac
To import the story on a Mac:
- Open the Books app.
- Find the EPUB in your Downloads folder.
- Drag the EPUB into the Books window.
You can also open the File menu in Books, choose Add to Library, and select the EPUB. Once imported, the story will appear in your Library.
Apple Books can also open a downloaded PDF on Mac.
Which format should you choose?
EPUB is the simpler option for reading a complete The Sietch story in Apple Books. It is free for everyone and does not require a Discord sign-in.
Choose PDF if you specifically want that format and are willing to use the required free Discord sign-in. Apple Books supports both EPUB and PDF on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
