How to read The Sietch stories offline

Download a story with WP Downloader

Find the story thread on the-sietch.com. Its address should look like this:

Copy the full address and paste it into the The Sietch downloader. WP Downloader detects the site and collects the threadmarked chapters from the forum thread into one book.

You can choose from these options:

• EPUB is free for everyone and works with compatible reading apps and e-readers.
• PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
• Include images adds the story’s images to the downloaded book.

For The Sietch, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list, and it does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

You do not need to sign in for public stories. Signing in with an account on The Sietch lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that the account can already read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader does not bypass access restrictions.

Read offline on a phone

Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone, then open the file in a compatible reading app.

For an EPUB, select the file from your browser’s downloads and open or import it into an EPUB reader. You can open a PDF in a PDF reader. Keep the downloaded file on your phone so it remains available offline.

Read offline on a tablet

You can download the story directly from your tablet:

1. Open the The Sietch downloader in your tablet’s browser.
2. Paste the story thread link.
3. Choose EPUB or PDF and download the file.
4. Open or import the file into a compatible reading app.

Use EPUB with an EPUB reading app or open the PDF in a PDF reader.

Read offline on an e-reader

WP Downloader provides EPUB as its e-book format. Download the story, then transfer or import the EPUB using the method supported by your e-reader.

Can I download only one chapter from The Sietch?

No. WP Downloader collects the threadmarked chapters into one book and downloads the whole story. Single-chapter downloads are not available for The Sietch.
