How to Read The Sietch Stories on a PocketBook E-Reader
To read a The Sietch story on a PocketBook e-reader, download it with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. PocketBook reads EPUB and PDF files, so no conversion is needed.
Download the story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool that does not require installation. It collects the threadmarked chapters from a The Sietch forum thread and combines them into one book.
Open the The Sietch downloader, copy the story thread’s address, and paste it into the box. The link should look like this:
https://www.the-sietch.com/index.php?threads/some-story-name.123456/WP Downloader detects the site from the link and downloads the whole story. It cannot download individual chapters or lists from The Sietch.
You can sign in to The Sietch if you want to download a members-only story that your account can already read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the requested story. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Two formats are available:
- EPUB is free for everyone and works on PocketBook readers.
- PDF also works on PocketBook readers, but downloading one requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can choose whether to include the story’s images. Save the finished file somewhere you can find it easily.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook
Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader a personal email address. You can send an EPUB or PDF to this address and then sync the reader.
1. Activate Send-to-PocketBook
On the PocketBook, open Settings, select Accounts and synchronization, and then choose Send-to-PocketBook.
Sign in and complete the activation process. You will receive an activation email and a personal address ending in @pbsync.com.
2. Email the story to your reader
From your usual email account, create a message addressed to your personal @pbsync.com address. Attach the EPUB from WP Downloader and send the message.
The service may ask you to approve or whitelist the sending address. If it does, add that address to the approved list.
3. Sync your PocketBook
Sync the PocketBook after sending the email. Once the file arrives, open it on the reader.
If the book does not appear, confirm that you used the correct @pbsync.com address and that your sending address is approved. Send the attachment again if necessary, then sync the reader.
Copy the story to PocketBook over USB
You can also transfer the downloaded file from a computer over USB.
- Download the story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader.
- Connect the PocketBook to your computer with USB.
- Copy the book file to the reader.
- Disconnect the PocketBook after the transfer finishes.
- Find the book on the reader and open it.
USB is useful if you have not set up Send-to-PocketBook.
Download new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author adds more threadmarked chapters, return to the The Sietch downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
The new file will contain the threadmarked chapters available at the time of the download. Transfer it to your PocketBook by email or USB.
