How to Read Wolverine & Rogue Stories Offline on a Flight

Download your Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive story before the flight. Once the EPUB or PDF is saved on your device, you can read it without Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Download the story before your flight

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. Use it while you still have an internet connection.

1. Find the story on wolverineandrogue.com.
2. Copy the URL from the story’s main page. It should look like this:

3. Open the Wolverine & Rogue story downloader.
4. Paste the URL into the box.
5. Wait while WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the story.
6. Download the EPUB or PDF.

EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.

You do not need a Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive account. WP Downloader saves the whole story from this archive, so it cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. The Wolverine & Rogue download guide has a more detailed walkthrough.

If the author publishes more chapters later, download the story again. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have.

Choose a format and reading app

Choose the format that works with the device or app you plan to use.

Phone or tablet

Choose EPUB if you have an EPUB reader on your phone or tablet. Save the file to the device you will take on the flight, then open or add it to your reading app before you leave.

Choose PDF if you prefer a PDF reader. Once the PDF is stored on your device, you can open it offline.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Download the EPUB and send it to Kindle before your flight. Amazon accepts EPUB and PDF files through the Send to Kindle website, the Send to Kindle app, or an email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.

Amazon converts the EPUB during delivery. The book then appears in your Kindle library on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. If you use email, you must send the file from an address on your approved sender list.

Send to Kindle needs an internet connection, so send the book before boarding. It no longer accepts MOBI files. See the Wolverine & Rogue Kindle guide for the full process.

Kobo

Download the EPUB and prepare it on the Kobo device or app you will use. For instructions, see how to read Wolverine & Rogue stories on Kobo.

Laptop

Save the EPUB or PDF directly to your laptop. Open the EPUB in an EPUB reader or the PDF in a PDF reader. Make sure the file is stored on the laptop instead of relying on an open browser tab.

Check that the story works offline

Test the book before you leave:

1. Check that the downloaded file is on the device you are taking.
2. If you use Kindle, wait for the book to appear in your Kindle library.
3. Open the book on that device or in your chosen app.
4. Turn on airplane mode.
5. Close the book, open it again, and move between a few chapters.

If the story opens, it is ready for the flight. If it does not, turn off airplane mode and finish the download or transfer while you still have a connection.

Test the same device you plan to carry. Downloading the file to one device does not automatically place it on your other phones, tablets, or e-readers.

Checklist before you leave
