How to Send FictionAlley Stories to Kindle

To send a FictionAlley Archive story to Kindle, download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then submit the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then read it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.

Step 1: Copy the FictionAlley story link

Open the story on fictionalley-archive.org or fictionalley.org and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. A FictionAlley Archive story link looks like this:

https://www.fictionalley-archive.org/authors/drt/DA.html

Copy the main story page. WP Downloader downloads whole FictionAlley stories, so it does not accept links for individual chapters or lists.

You do not need to sign in to FictionAlley.

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader

Open the FictionAlley Downloader, paste the story link into the box, and let WP Downloader prepare the complete story.

Choose EPUB for the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Amazon accepts the format through Send to Kindle. You can also choose to include the story’s images.

WP Downloader also offers PDF downloads, which require a free Discord sign-in. Amazon accepts both EPUB and PDF.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and no longer accepts MOBI.

If the story gets new chapters, download it again through WP Downloader. The tool cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded.

See how to download FictionAlley stories for more help with the download.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle

After saving the EPUB on your phone or computer, send it to Amazon through the web, the Send to Kindle app, or email.

Use Send to Kindle on the web

Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle page in your browser, select the downloaded EPUB, and submit it. Amazon will convert the file and add the book to your Kindle library.

Use the Send to Kindle app

Open the Send to Kindle app, choose the downloaded EPUB, and send it. The converted book will appear in your Kindle library.

Email the EPUB to your Kindle

Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address. You must send the message from an approved sender email address. Amazon will not deliver the attachment if the sender is not approved.

The Send to Kindle guide has more information about all three methods.

Step 4: Open the story on your Kindle

Once Amazon has processed the EPUB, open your library on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app and select the story.

FictionAlley stories are in English. WP Downloader saves the whole story in one download. For other ways to read away from the website, see how to read FictionAlley stories offline. If you use a Kobo, follow the FictionAlley and Kobo guide.

WP Downloader’s support for FictionAlley Archive and 86 other fiction archives was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.
